Blu is a powdered food with coloring properties of natural origin extracted from Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) and created to give color and make original drinks and
foods.It is a valid natural alternative to the artificial dye "brilliant blue" (E133) in
how much it contains Phycocyanin, a compound of proteins and blue pigments.
In addition to the characteristic blue color, phycocyanin has important antioxidant properties and
anti-inflammatory.

Being a concentrate, it is recommended to use Blue food coloring in quantity very small, from 0.05% to 0.5% for each kg or liter of mixture to which it is added. Depending on the quantity added, shades of light blue/light blue can be obtained different intensity.
